We've been talking with Abel about money lately. Some of his school work has been in learning how to count coins, and he also likes to watch us when we make our monthly budget and fill our cash envelopes. (You can read more about our family's money journey
here.) So we made him three envelopes of his own, one for each of the things money is good for. He's pretty excited, and when he earned a dollar for helping clean the house out yesterday, he happily distributed each quarter into one of the envelopes.

Incidentally, he had to choose one envelope to put
two quarters in. He chose the giving envelope.
